  • "Bootcamp helped me answer a stunningly difficult question: what behaviors or beliefs have gotten me to this point in my life but are no longer serving me? I believe my resulting resolutions will make me a better partner and husband."

  • “Allow yourself to be submersed in a weekend of vulnerability, accountability, friendship and a keen sense of purpose. Your leadership skills will be stronger and you will live with intent after reflecting on how your special talents in the VC world will make you a better investor/advisor/mentor/board member but more important, a better person.”

  • "There are no words I can give you that will do justice to the profound changes that Bootcamp will induce in you. Bootcamp is a salutary pause in a life of speed and busyness that allowed me to reconnect with myself and others."

Working in VC is hard at any time. But doing this job over the last year has brought with it unique challenges–-global economic uncertainty, social and political unrest, isolation and the Zoomification of everything, to name a few. 2020 changed the world, and that change brings an opportunity to grow as human beings, and specifically as investors. The last year has shown us that perhaps the most important skills we can develop are our resilience and adaptability.

Now, as the world begins to take steps back toward some semblance of normalcy, what will that mean for the work we do? What will investing look like in 2021 and beyond?

Those are big and important questions, for sure.

But what about the more immediate, personal questions?

Questions like:

How am I doing right now?
How do I ensure I’m continuing to grow?
In what ways might older, defensive patterning be showing up and impacting my work (e.g. imposter syndrome)?
How do I find my edge, my superpower, as an investor?
Am I enjoying the work? To what degree am I thriving?
What does it mean to show up as my best for my colleagues, my founders, myself?

Whatever your experience has been over the past year, and whether you find yourself feeling challenged or energized in this moment, we hope you’ll join us, and other folks in the VC community, for this reflective half-day event featuring guided journaling, peer coaching, and a robust opportunity to refresh and refine your own authentic approach to the work.
