Feedback. Such a fraught word. For some of us, the word evokes feelings of anxiety and unease, perhaps reminding us of past difficult conversations that have caused pain or damaged relationships. Others of us may hear an overused business buzzword–startup leadership gobbledygook. We’ve been told for years that feedback is important–that we should be better at giving it and better at receiving it. But what does that really mean?

Believe it or not, when we’re asked to work with leadership teams and groups of new managers, the single-most-named topic, the most sought-after skill set, is feedback

To us, feedback is really about relationships. It’s about communicating well when the stakes are high and feelings are big as well as in the mundane, everyday moments. It’s as much (or more) about healthy connectedness in human systems as it is about performance improvement. To be good at giving and receiving feedback is to be good at relating effectively to others at work. In turn, we’re able to get things done, make more of an impact in our organizations, and, frankly, live more fulfilling lives.

If you want to get better about having the conversations that will support better connectedness and greater impact in both your organization and other domains of your life, join us for our next practical skills workshop: Reboot Your Feedback

We’ll introduce you to the core feedback concepts and practices that have been foundational to our coaching and group work since Reboot’s inception, and give you the tools for implementing these practices yourself.

You + a diverse group of leaders and learners looking to improve their giving and receiving feedback skills, led by team Reboot.

September 24, 2021. The program begins at 9am PT / 12pm ET and runs until 1pm PT / 4pm ET.

Wherever you are! You’ll need a quiet, private spot to participate in the workshop.

The cost of this workshop is $299. Group and team rates are available. A full recording of the workshop will be made available to participants several days after the event.
